Leveling Up: How Our Responsibility.org Partnership Equips Venue Teams to Deliver Better Guest Experiences

Creating welcoming, safe spaces for everyone is at the heart of what we do at the SAFE Bar Network. Every day, our network of more than 430 venues and 14,000 trained hospitality workers proves that active care transforms nightlife.

Now, we are taking that mission even further.

We are proud to announce our new partnership with Responsibility.org for the launch of Serving with CARE, a voluntary initiative designed to recognize bars, restaurants, hotels, tasting rooms, and other hospitality venues that lead the way in responsible alcohol service and guest safety.

As part of this collaboration, SAFE Bar Network membership now automatically includes Serving with CARE recognition. When your venue commits to training staff in active bystander intervention and workplace safety with us, you are also recognized through the Serving with CARE framework—giving your venue dual visibility as a leader in guest care and responsible hospitality.

Why Serving with CARE Matters

Guests want to know that the venues they visit care about their well-being. Serving with CARE provides a practical, recognizable framework that helps venues go beyond legal compliance to build real consumer trust, back up their frontline staff, and set a higher industry standard.

As SAFE Bar Network Executive Director Haleigh Harrold shared:
