Help for Hospitality

We are grateful to be part of a national network of hospitality folks who share in our values of trust, respect, accountability, connection, and support. We know when disaster hits our hospitality friends are impacted. We've gathered resources for food and beverage folks who've been hurt by recent natural disasters.


  • Another Round Another Rally - Disaster Relief Grant Program

    • What: "Aid may come in the form of grocery store vouchers, direct financial assistance or other relief resources depending on employee needs and available resources."

    • Who: "Eligibility requirements:Must work in, or must have most recently worked in, hospitalityMust be a U.S. residentMust be facing financial hardship as a result of a natural disaster that occurred within the past two months"


  • Southern Smoke Foundation - Emergency Relief

    • What: Emergency Funding - No cap on payout, application based

    • Who: All F&B Employees. "This includes chefs, line cooks, barbacks, bartenders, servers, food runners, general managers, dishwashers, and shift supervisors. It can also include farmers, distillery workers, vineyard workers, beverage distributors, winemakers, sommeliers… and the list goes on. Southern Smoke Foundation was created to support everyone who makes this industry possible."


  • Southern Smoke Foundation -  Mental Health Program

    • https://southernsmoke.org/mental-health/

    • What: "Through our mental health program, Behind You, Southern Smoke provides access to no-cost counseling for food and beverage workers in California, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Texas, and beginning summer 2024, Maine, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Those who live outside of the service states can apply for financial assistance to cover mental health care needs through our Emergency Relief Fund."

    • Who: "To qualify for this program, applicants must currently be employed within the food and beverage industry, working at least 30 hours per week for a minimum of six (6) months."


  • Women of the Vine & Spirits - Hospitality Benefits Program

    • https://www.wotvsfoundation.org/assistance-program

    • What: "Free resources to help with: Counseling, Treatment Referrals, Financial Guidance, Legal Assistance, Family Support"

    • Who: "Enrollees must be employed in the restaurant and/or hospitality industry for a minimum of three years or currently unemployed, furloughed, or working fewer hours, having previously worked for a minimum of three years prior to their current unemployment status."
