This week has been an exciting and productive one with our partners in Chicago. Seven Chicago venues: The Pearl Club, 14 Parish Restaurant & Rhum Bar, Dawn A.M. Eatery, Lemon, Union, Lardon, and The Meadowlark joined the SAFE Bar Network.

As a demonstration of their commitment to safety, their employees completed the SAFE Bar Training conversation, putting a renewed focus on creating a workplace culture focused on preventing harm.
Check out what employees and managers said about training.

"Great way to get conversations going and learning ways to make others around you feel safe"
"Addressed a lot of things that subversives get left unsaid or are hard for some to talk ant openly in a way that was approachable"
"They gave us all tools for every scenario and made it fun and had everyone engaging."
"Great training. Got everyone involved"
"They provided excellent group interaction and expanded my knowledge of how people can take advantage of staff and guests time and space."
In addition to training their teams, Lemon and The Meadowlark hosted open events for hospitality industry professionals to learn more about the SAFE Bar Network, the skills to give everyone a safe night out, and participate in cocktail education focused on Absinthe.

"The enthusiasm in the room during the events has been contagious, and it’s clear that the hospitality community is ready for the kind of support we provide. I’m excited about the progress we’ve made this week and the relationships we’ve built, Darian Everding, Business Development Representative, SAFE Bar Network"
