We get to work with some of the best alcohol-serving venues in the country. What makes an awesome venue? Awesome people.
Take a few minutes to catch up with Jason at member venue Fred’s Bar & Grill in Baton Rouge, LA.
Thinking about your team and customers, share a success with us.
Fred’s has been using this time to focus on team building. We recently sent a crew to Bonnaroo music festival. The employees that qualified for this trip were voted on by their peers. The voting was based on multiple factors: must meet a minimum of hours and embody the “Fred's Luvs Ya” attitude.
Thinking about your venue and community, what fills your cup and brings you joy?
New members to our team and teaching them skills that they won’t learn in school. Also hearing that many of my spring graduates have found jobs.
Word is out that we are hiring 40 employees before fall. Our inbox has been flooded with great applicants. Here are some of the things they've said.
"I'm new to the are and Fred's seems like a very upbeat and inviting place."
"I always have the best experience at Fred's. And knowing it's a safe environment, I would love to work at Fred's as a bartender or any position."
"I want to work at Fred’s because I have heard such great things about the work crew and business."
Jason recommends the SAFE Bar Network because the facilitators make everyone feel very comfortable with the subject. The most valuable part of training for him is that the newer employees feel empowered to speak up if a situation presents itself.
